Also this is a good example of the change of the society. With the arrival of the ‘new work’ this kind of sites and organizations are more popular. People don’t have to leave their houses to create something new or to have business meetings. By doing this online you can do more work in a little time and make more money is a positive result of this. Besides this economic result I personal prefer onlinle meetings. I mean, doing a presentation online seems to me less scary then doing one in real life.

Youmeet is a initiative of the YNNO, A advice office for innovative workers. In this office, meetings are totally prepared and among professionals. There are five different kinds of rooms with their own ‘mood’ and target. These are, speak, create, design, reflect and decide. Those offices can be used for having meetings or work at a command.  The problems with meetings are mostly the results that are not clear at the end of a meeting. But the meetings of ‘Youmeet’ are accompanied and very professional organized, so results are a simply and fast to reach.Timesaving is an important profit of this office!

why is it cool?

This is a good example of the influence that Urban Nomads has on the society. More and more there are organizations that offers a online service that make work easier and faster. This signal shows that about a little time everyone become a Urban Nomad. I think it’s not a group of people anymore but a real society change.

Straight from Japan this office box for telecommuters and self-employed home-office dwellers  who don’t have the luxury of a dedicated home office.

why is it cool?

Urban Nomads love travelling and they don’t be a lot on the same place. With this office you can work everywhere in your home because it’s easy to move. Besides you can close the door of this box so after your work is done you can close it and hide it so you can leave your ‘work attitude’ behind and enjoy the rest of your day with other things without being confronted with your work. After all, you need to relax sometimes!

ILS Berlijn 2011, Berlin did impressed me!

Wooh! Berlijn is echt een fantastische stad! groot, levendig, apart en uniek! Amsterdam is er niks bij. Het leuke aan Berlijn is de aparte wijken van de stad die allemaal zo hun eigen charmes hebben. Wat me ook opviel was dat Berlijn niet echt een centraal centrum heeft. Meestal zie je dat een stad een centrum heeft en dat vooral op die plek ‘geleefd’ wordt. In Berlijn is dit eigenlijk heel erg netjes verdeeld. Overal leeft het en overal heb je ‘kleinere’ centrums met hun eigen bijzonderheden en sfeer.

De sfeer in Berlijn is echt heel mooi. De mensen zijn vriendelijk, niet gehaast en de talrijke kroegjes, restaurantjes en cafetjes houden de avond levendig.

Real street art, Graffiti

Overal vind je het, vrijwel elke straat zit er onder mee. En niet met die onzinnge teksten die je hier in Nederland vooral vind maar echt de prachtigste kunstwerken zie op de muren. Toen ik in de metro zat kwamen we langs een buurt (vergeten welke) waar de creativiteit vanaf druipte! Overal de prachigste kunstwerken, hele gebouwen waren omgetoverd naar een groot kunstwerk, echt geweldig om te zien. Grauwe en sombere gebouwen zijn omgetoverd naar een buitenshuis museum.

Geweldig toch?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oke, ook hier vind je nog gewoon doodnormale teksten maar heey, ziet er best leuk uit toch?

Bike trip

De 1e echte dag dat we in Berlijn waren gingen we met de hele groep Berlijn verkennen per fiets! Dit is zeker een aanrader. Niet ben je overal sneller en kun je meer zien in een korte tijd, ook is het heel verkoelend als het warm is. Lekker uitwaaien op de fiets!

We zijn vooral langs alle touristenplekken geweest die opmerkelijk veel met de oorlog te maken hebben gehad en dat vond ik wel apart, ook dat ze daar zoveel over vertelde. Tja, ik denk niet dat de Duitsers zo blij zijn met datgene wat er in het verleden gebeurd is dus vind ik het best goed dat ze toch zoveel over de oorlog en alles vertellen.

Heavy shit, Garden of Exile 

Dit museum was echt heel heavy. Ik vond het zo mooi en zielig en het gevoel dat ik kreeg toen ik deze tuin inliep was echt eng! Het had iets te maken met disorientatie maar echt de exacte link met de oorlog kan ik niet goed leggen maar toch heeft dit zo ontzettende impact op mij gehad. Dat gevoel wat ik kreeg toen ik hier liep is echt niet te omschrijven.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Party!

Laatste avond. Berlijn. Stappen!!! Nadat we een aantal drankjes hadden genutigd in een coctailbar gingen we lekker los in een club ‘the weekend’. Deze club zit 12 hoog in een flat en overal zaten ramen met als gevolg dat je dus over heel Berlijn kon uitkijken! super toch? vooral als je de zon ziet opkomen.. Wat was ik MOE! 6 uur in de ochtend terug in het hostel om twee uur later in de bus te stappen op weg naar Hollandia. Ik ben nog steeds niet bijgekomen..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Een  super trip en kan niet wachten tot de volgende, Voor mezelf heb ik al besloten deze zomer nog een aantal daagjes terug te gaan om wat meer te bekijken van de stad zelf want ik moet zeggen,
